The defendant was a corporation, *633whose business was managed by D. H. Stuhr. Stuhr was given authority to employ the help necessary to properly conduct the, business, and contracted for the plaintiff’s services as a grain solicitor for the term of one year from the 15th day of August, 1902. The defendant discharged him before the • expiration of this time, and this suit was brought to recover the contract price for his services for the months of May and June.
