Plaintiff, beneficiary under an insurance policy, issued by defendant company on the life of her husband, brought this action to recover the face value of the policy, less the amount of a policy loan.

December 13, 1917, the defendant issued to Harry Bur-stein a policy in the face amount of $2,000, with an annual premium of $62.96, payable quarterly. All premiums were paid with the exception of one due June 13, 1936, which was not paid within the grace period of 31 days.
