OPINION

2Per curiam

¶ 1 Bradley D. Hackenberger appeals from the November 6, 2000 judgment of sentence imposed following his conviction by a jury of cruelty to animals.1 We affirm.

¶ 2 On March 23, 2000, at approximately 12:00 p.m., three workers from Pennsylvania Power and Light (PP & L) observed a dog2 roaming around the area in which they were working. Shortly after the dog left their immediate vicinity, the men heard several gunshots. Thereafter, the men discovered that the dog they had seen earlier had been shot and had died.
