This is an original proceeding’ in mandamus against the Comptroller, Auditor and Treasurer of Kansas City to compel a refund to relator of the sum of $469.80, paid by it in discharge of a special tax bill issued against certain real estate in Kansas City. Our alternative writ issued and service thereof was acknowledged by respondents, who thereafter filed their return. By leave of court, a supplemental return was filed for Lora A.
