Defendant Stacy Perez appeals an order of the Thurston County Superior Court denying her motion to withdraw her guilty plea to the charge of manslaughter in the beating death of a small child. The significant issue presented is whether noncompliance with CrR 4.2(e), which requires a plea bargain agreement to be made a part of the record at the time the plea is entered, invalidates the plea. Defendant also challenges the trial court's finding concerning the substance of a plea bargain agreement, and contends that she was ineffectively assisted by counsel.
