FLYNN, C. J.

The defendant Guerrieri Masonry, Inc., appeals from the judgment of the trial court, following a jury verdict, in favor of the plaintiff John Sequenzia. Although the defendant’s brief primarily focuses on the findings of the court as set forth in the court’s postver-dict memorandum of decision on the defendant’s post-trial motions, rather than focusing on the merits of the defendant’s motion for judgment notwithstanding the verdict and the defendant’s motion for a new trial, and is inadequate in that regard, we do agree with its claim that it was entitled to a new trial…
