MEMORANDUM OPINION

Plaintiff Karen Dilenno (“Dilenno”) instituted this diversity action 1 against defendants Libbey Glass Division of Owens-Illinois, Inc. (“Owens-Illinois”), Marstan Industries, Inc. (“Marstan”), and The Freshie Company (“Freshie”) to recover $90,000 in damages for injuries she sustained to her right hand when an allegedly defective jar, manufactured by Owens-Illinois, distributed by Marstan, and sold to Dilenno by Freshie shattered as she attempted to replace its lid.
