SCHALLER, J.

The defendant was charged, in three separate informations brought pursuant to General Stat utes § 53a-32, 1 with violating the terms of his probation by committing certain criminal offenses. After a hearing, the trial court found that the defendant had violated his probation, revoked his probation, and sentenced him to serve time in prison. The defendant appealed to the Appellate Court claiming that the trial court had: (1) improperly found that he had violated his probation; and (2) abused its discretion in revoking his probation.
