Plaintiff Don Monson brought this action for breach of contract against defendant State of Oregon, following plaintiffs removal as head men’s basketball coach at the University of Oregon. The jury found for plaintiff, and the state appeals. We reverse.
The material facts are undisputed. In 1978, plaintiff became head men’s basketball coach at the University of Idaho. At that time, he had 17 years of high school coaching experience and two years of assistant coaching at the college level.
