This case involves the application of the doctrine of forum non conveniens in a transitory tort action. The trial court applying the doctrine dismissed the case. The Court of Appeals reversed the action of the trial court and we granted certiorari. In this opinion the parties will be referred to as in the trial court; that is, petitioner here, Thomas E. Znrick, as defendant, and respondent here, Ada West Inman, as plaintiff.
