Dianna Davis, appellee, enrolled in American Commercial Colleges, Inc., appellant, seeking a business administration degree. Davis sued appellant for violations of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA or the Act), TEX. BUS. & COM. CODE ANN. § 17.41 et seq. (Vernon 1987 & Supp.1991), alleging that appellant misrepresented the quality of its teachers, equipment, and training aids.
