ASPEN, District Judge:
Plaintiff Roy Gerald Hamrick (“Ham-rick”) filed this civil rights action in his capacity as administrator of his son Steven’s estate against the Villages of Villa Park and Lombard, Chief William Kohnke of the Villa Park Police Department, eight individual police officers of the Villa Park and Lombard departments, and several named and unnamed village employees seeking $10,000,000 in compensatory and punitive damages for the defendants’ al leged violation of Steven’s fourth, fifth, sixth, eighth, and fourteenth amendment rights as well as 42…
