¶ 1 Following an automobile crash for which United Tool Rental, Inc. (UTR), and DeLyle Paulsen (Paulsen) admitted negligence, UTR and Paulsen sought contribution from the State of Montana Department of Transportation (DOT), Riverside Contracting, Inc. (Riverside), Highway Technologies, Inc. (Highway Technologies), and Carter & Burgess, Inc. (Carter & Burgess) (collectively “Construction Parties”).
