Plaintiff in error, Louis Mehay, made application to the Industrial Commission for an adjustment of his claim against defendant in error, the Illinois Steel Company, June 11, 1923, alleging that he was suffering from a disability-arising out of an accident occurring in the course of his employment on October 29, 1920. Thereafter his petition was amended so as to show that the date of the accident was September 27, 1920.
