In this memorandum opinion, the court considers the motion for summary judgment (Doc. No. 18) filed by defendant UPMC Health System (“defendant” or “UPMC”) with respect to all claims against UPMC asserted by plaintiff Dreama L. Chapman (“plaintiff’ or “Chapman”). Plaintiff in her complaint asserted claims against UPMC for interference and retaliation under the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993, as amended, 29 U.S.C. § 2601 et seq.
