This case involves construction of two provisions of the Compensation Act.1 The facts, stated briefly, are these: Richard E. Donaldson, the claimant and an employee of Maxwell Furniture Company, of Washington City, on November 6, 1931, suffered a hernia in the course of his employment. On March 2, 1932, after a hearing before the deputy commissioner, compensation was awarded to claimant for temporary partial disability under Sec. 8(e) of the Act, to continue “until further order of the Deputy Commissioner”.
