This is an appeal from a directed verdict rendered in favor of defendants at the close of plaintiffs’ case.

In the spring of 1980, plaintiffs, Lawrence B. Kaye and his wife, were in the market for a new home. They contacted Anita Levin of Marting Realty who recommended a home owned by defendants Y. E. and Kathleen J. Buehrle. On June 1, 1980, after a brief inspection of the house, the Kayes presented an offer to the Buehrles which was rejected.
