MEMORANDUM AND ORDER

LUNGSTRUM, District Judge.

Plaintiff brought Title VII sexual harassment claims against defendant employer. Trial was held to a jury in July, 1997, and the jury awarded plaintiff $5,000 in compensatory damages and $1,000,000 in punitive damages. Pursuant to defendant’s motion (Doc. 164), the court amended plaintiffs judgment for punitive damages to $295,000 to bring her total damages within the statutory cap (Doc. 167).
