2Per curiam
This matter is before the Court pursuant to a Petition for Writ of Mandamus filed by the People of the Virgin Islands (hereafter “People”) requesting that this Court vacate the Superior Court’s February 20, 2009 and February 26, 2009 orders denying the People’s request to withdraw plea offers made to Basheem C. Ford and Jermaine S. Paris *380(collectively “Defendants”).1 For the reasons stated below, we shall grant the People’s petition and vacate the Superior Court’s orders.
