This is a suit by J. W. Manning against Charles White as principal, and G. E. King and B. Cunningham as sureties, upon a retail liquor dealer’s bond, to recover penalties to the amount of $5,000 for alleged breaches of said bond in' selling intoxicating liquor to plaintiff’s minor son and in permitting him to enter and remain in said White’s place of business. Defendants answered by general demurrer and general denial and by numerous special exceptions and pleas, the nature of which, so far as material, will be disclosed in passing upon the various assignments of error.…
