The City of Dallas, one of the appellees in this case, moves to dismiss the instant appeal for want of jurisdiction. We conclude that we have jurisdiction only as to appellant Abdul Samaad; we dismiss the appeals of the remaining appellants.

The pertinent chronological facts are as follows: On January 12 (all dates being in 1990), the district court entered a judgment dismissing plaintiffs’ 42 U.S.C. § 1983 claims with prejudice and their state law claims without prejudice. 733 F.Supp. 239.
