Defendant Shawn C. Hollifield appeals from judgment entered upon a jury verdict finding him guilty of second degree murder. On appeal, defendant contends the trial court erred by informing the jury that co-defendant Savannah Rose Walker had already been convicted of second degree murder; by instructing the jury on the State's acting-in-concert theory of guilt, which defendant argues was not supported by the evidence; and by sentencing defendant for second degree murder as a Class B1 offense, where the jury rendered a general verdict without specifying which type of malice it…
