MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER
DAVID H. ADAMS, Bankruptcy Judge.
This matter comes before the Court on the complaint of Branch Banking and Trust Co. (“BB & T”) to determine the dischargeability of a debt under 11 U.S.C. § 523(a)(6) owed by Stewart Milton Powers Jr. to BB & T. The plaintiff contends that the debt is non-dischargeable because the defendant debtor transferred a Municipal Bond Investment Portfolio Account (“Portfolio Account”) to First Union Bank (“First Union”) as security for a loan when the Portfolio Account had already been pledged to BB & T as collateral for a loan.
