The complaint in this action alleges that four specific sections of the New York Election Law placed unconstitutional burdens upon plaintiffs’ voting and associational rights in violation of 42 U.S.C. § 1983 and the First and Fourteenth Amendments to the United States Constitution, and deprivation of the right to equal protection of the law under the Fourteenth Amendment.
