Quinn, Chief Judge:

We granted review to consider several assignments of error in regard to the accused’s conviction of two violations of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, for which he was sentenced to a dishonorable discharge, forfeiture of all pay and allowances and reduction to Private E-l.1

At trial, the specification of Charge I was described as “bribery.” Appellate defense counsel contend the description is incorrect, and the specification is legally insufficient because it does not allege that the accused sought to influence official decision or action. In…
