The Missouri Pacific Railway Company commenced this action in the district court of Wyandotte county, to restrain the public authorities of the city of Wyandotte from the collection of taxes levied upon a certain tract of land owned by the railway company, which it is claimed is not within the limits of the city. In the year 1885, the mayor and council of the city of Wyandotte, on the theory that this land was within its corporate limits, levied thereon certain city taxes, as follows: General revenue fund, $140; general improvement tax, $45; bond interest tax, $84; bond…
