OPINION

{¶ 1} Defendant-appellant, Bruce Wightman, appeals his conviction in the Fayette County Court of Common Pleas for kidnapping with the purpose of engaging in sexual activity.

{¶ 2} In June 2006, appellant was indicted on one count of kidnapping with the purpose of engaging in sexual activity in violation of R.C.2905.01(A)(4). A jury trial revealed the following facts:
