The defendants Hazel Hooten, principal and Ernest Rice, surety, bring this appeal from a decree of the chancellor awarding against them a recovery of the full amount of a bond for $1000, given by them in the criminal court of Davidson county in a habeas corpus proceeding, brought by Hazel Hooten to obtain the custody of her infant child from the relator Morris Hooten, the father of the child, from whom Hazel Hotten is alleged to have been divorced in a suit brought by her in the State of Ohio.
