We regard this as a. suit for a wife brought on tbe equity. side of tbe District Court of tbe United States for tbe district of Wisconsin, by hér next friend, George Cronkhite, a citizen of tbe State of New York, against Hiram Barber, a citizen of tbe State of Wisconsin, to give the same validity to a judgment in that State which it has in the State of New York against the defendant for the payment of alimony to his wife, who has been divorced from him a mensa et thoro, with an allowance of alimony by a court, which had, when the décree was made,…
