The defendant, Edwin F. Rodriguez, appeals from the judgment of conviction, rendered after a jury trial, of robbery in the second degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-135 (a) (1) and conspiracy to commit robbery in the second degree in violation of General Statutes §§ 53a-48 (a) and 53a-135 (a) (1). On appeal, the defendant claims that (1) he was denied a fair trial when (a) the court and the prosecutor referred to the complaining witness as the victim and (b) the court limited his cross-examination of the complaining witness, and (2) his conviction of both robbery…
