MEMORANDUM OPINION

MOTLEY, Chief Judge.

Plaintiffs’ motion for an award of attorney fees in connection with a pretrial discovery matter is now before the court. In the main aetion plaintiffs are suing the Secretary of Health and Human Services and various Social Security Administration officials regarding the government’s method of recouping certain overpayments to Supplemental Security Income (S.S.I.) beneficiaries.
