POSNER, Circuit Judge.

Oreye was convicted by a jury of federal drug offenses and sentenced to 168 months in prison. His appeal presents questions about his Sixth Amendment right to counsel.

Oreye was originally indicted under the name “Emmanual Richson,” and when first arraigned was represented by an appointed counsel named Saltzman, to whom he denied that he was Richson; but he could present no evidence of this at the time and the judge decided to let the indictment stand.
