The plaintiff is a corporation located in New Haven engaged in the business of operating a cemetery in that county under the name of Beaverdale Memorial Park. On June 7, 1939, the plaintiff received notice from the acting administrator of the unemployment compensation law, pursuant to General Statutes, 1937 Sup., § 814d, assessing contributions upon the plaintiff as the employer of Eugene A. Sexton, its sales manager, and four salesmen.
