The defendant-appellant, Ella Napier, appeals from the judgment of the court below convicting her, following a jury trial, of aggravated assault and a firearm specification. In eight assignments of error, Napier alleges (1) that the trial court erred in concluding that she failed to prove the affirmative defense of self-defense; (2) that the trial court’s instruction to the jury with respect to self-defense was erroneous; (3) that her conviction was not supported by sufficient evidence; (4) that her conviction was contrary to the manifest weight of the evidence…
