Hammond, J. —

Action by the appellee against the appellant, the City of Indianapolis, Philip Reichwein, and the In*11dianapolis Water Company, for an injury resulting from an alleged obstruction in the sidewalk in front of the premises of said Reichwein. The defendants answered separately by the general denial. After submission to the jury for trial, appellee dismissed as to the water company. A verdict was returned for Reichwein, but in appellee’s favor, against appellant; and with their general verdict the jury, in answer to interrogatories submitted by the coui’t at the request of the parties,…
