This was a suit brought by Pligert, the appellant against the city of Greencastle, appellee, for an injury alleged to have been received by reason of a defective sidewalk in said city.
The complaint is in two paragraphs.
The first charges that the defendant so negligently and unskilfully graded Jackson street, in said city, and the sidewalks thereof, and so permitted and caused the same to be done, as to produce a dangerous fall in the east sidewalk of said street, and at a place used and open for public travel, and suffered the same to remain for a long time in said dangerous condition —…
