The appeal in this case was taken from a judgment of the Superior Court of Baltimore City against the appellant company in a suit on a contract for the supply of building materials.

The company, on the eve of the erection of a row of small buildings in Baltimore City, entered into a written contract with the appellee William C. Dorsey on December 9th, 1908, to supply it with the requisite quantity of certain kinds of lumber and mill work, at specified prices, for the buildings.
