The petitioner is an enrolled member of the Tonawanda Nation of Seneca Indians and resides on the reservation of that nation in Genesee county. She is possessed of a farm of about eleven acres, a part of the reservation. Acting under the provisions of section 85 of the Indian Law, the district attorney of Genesee county, as attorney for the nation, has contracted on behalf of the nation with one Sadie E.
