This is an action to recover damages for the breach of a contract for the purchase and sale of the *139goods in a store in the town of Bombay, Franklin county. The facts briefly are as follows:
George Terrance, the plaintiff, was the holder of papers purporting to be deeds of a farm of land in the town of Bombay, Franklin county, N. Y., which is within the limits of the St. Regis Indian Reservation.
