The defendant was convicted in the District Court of Montgomery County of the crimeiof forgery, and sentenced to confinement in the penitentiary. From this conviction he appeals, and raises in *508this court the single question whether chapter 137 of the Laws of 1897, which in terms repeals the law creating the eleventh judicial district, is valid.
