I. INTRODUCTION

Plaintiff, Paul A. Couture, brought this action against defendant Evergreen International Airlines, Inc. (“Evergreen”), alleging a violation of the Veterans’ Reemployment Rights Act (“VRRA”), 38 U.S.C. §§ 2021-2027. 1 2 While employed by Evergreen as a flight engineer, Couture, an Air Force reservist, was activated for military duty during the Persian Gulf War.
