Jerry R. Selman (hereafter referred to as appellant) filed a bill in the superior court of Cook county during June, 1926, seeking the specific performance of a written agreement entered into on December 22, 1925, between himself and John R. Geary and wife for the exchange of certain pieces of improved real estate owned by the respective parties and located in the city of Chicago.
