This is a statutory action for the recovery of land. Plaintiffs’ original title is not controverted. But defendants claim title by adverse possession in themselves and those through whom the possession came to them for a period of more than ten years before suit brought. This possession was at all times under color of title transmitted from one to another of those whose possession is sought to be tacked on to that of defendants by conveyances formally adequate to pass title.
