The named plaintiff appeals from the trial court’s dismissal of the plaintiffs’1 appeal from the *706granting by the plan and zoning commission of the town of Fairfield (commission) of a zone change and a special permit to the defendant Donald Scinto. The dis-positive issue on appeal2 is whether the court erred in holding that a published notice stating an incorrect date for the public hearing to be held by the commission satisfied the statutory notice requirement. We find error.
