The appellant was charged with the crime of robbery alleged to have been committed upon one Gin Chung on or about November 6, 1912. He pleaded not guilty. Upon a trial on November 15, 1912, the jury returned its verdict of guilty. In due time the defendant moved for a new trial, assigning twenty grounds therefor.
