LUMBARD, Chief Judge.
This is an appeal from an interlocutory judgment of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York in a patent infringement suit. Judge Metzner found that the patent was valid and that it had been infringed, and entered an appropriate order for an injunction and an accounting of damages. The appellants contest both of these findings and in addition argue that they were improperly denied leave to amend their pleadings at a late stage of the proceedings below to add additional defenses and a counterclaim. We affirm.
