This is an action to quiet title to certain mining claims situated in the Marshall Lake Mining District in Idaho County.

The appellants (husband and wife) alleged that they located two certain mining claims, Tualatin and Potlatch, on public unappropriated mineral lands of the United States, and complied with the laws in relation thereto; and that the defendants (respondents) were asserting some claim or right adverse to them, and prayed for a decree quieting appellants’ title to their claims.
