Affirming.

Appellees, as trustees and secretary of the Greens-burg graded common school district of Greensburg, Kentucky, instituted this action against the appellant, Wood-son Lewis, to recover the sum of $500.00, which they alleged he had subscribed to the school district at a mass meeting held in the fall of 1920 for the purpose of raising funds with which to purchase land and erect a school building in that district. Prom a judgment entered upon a jury’s verdict awarding appellees the full amount sued for, appellant has appealed.
