Affirming.

On June 5, 1918, the appellees, Virgil Garvin and his wife, leased to appellant 200 acres of land for a term of five years, for the purpose of drilling and operating for oil and gas thereon. It was stipulated in the lease that if the lessee failed to begin a well on the premises within one year or to complete same within eighteen months from the date of the lease it was to become null ap.d void, *473but that a forfeiture could be prevented by tbe lessee paying to tbe lessor one dollar per acre per year in advance for each year the completion of a well…
