This is a suit by Mattie Gardner against the Supreme Camp of the American Woodmen, a fraternal order, with its principal office in Denver, Colorado; and the Bank of Commerce & Trust Co., and the Union & Planters Bank & Trust Co., both banks engaged in the banking business in the City of Memphis. The suit is to recover the proceeds of an insurance certificate in the sum of $600, issued by the American Woodmen on the life of Bichard Gardner, and payable to his mother, the complainant, Mattie Gardner.
